MSW Logo is a logo-based programming software designed for educational purposes. MSW Logo has many uses as it can be used to create not only graphs and charts, but also games or programs for Windows.
When using this piece of software, at first I felt it was confusing and difficult to grasp. However, if the guide (see button below) is followed then it is fairly simple to use and a great way of introducing programming. However, if using this with children in the classroom, some training would be required and the software is not as exciting to use as Scratch due to the simple fact that it is not in colour and not as engaging. Therefore I would reserve the use of this in the classroom and predominantly use it with upper KS2 pupils.
There are numerous tutorials and video guides to get you started with MSW Logo, however, although it is a great way for beginners to get started in programming, it is limited in its usefulness and rarely used in schools.
I did however have a go at using MSW Logo and my efforts (after a few hours of experimenting) can be seen below. As you can see, I was finally able to draw a house and a square based design.
