Animation
26th February 2014
My year 4 class went on a trip to Rochdale Learning Centre to participate in a animation workshop.  Animations were created using photo animation software.. This involved taking photos of each still movement of the lego figures, which were against a plain backdrop, and then uploading them onto the computer to generate the video animation.
Below are some photographs of the children creating the animations and some videos of their finished animations.

This piece of software is incredibly useful for children to use in the classroom as it is not only a means of developing ICT and computing skills, but also effective in helping children to bring the curriculum to life, in particular in literacy.
