Prior to starting the P.G.C.E course, university sent out a pack for pre-course learning, In the ICT pack there was a pre-course audit to gauge a overview of my current level of ICT skills. I graded myself as a C with one element of B, as although I am familiar with a range of software and programs, I feel I will benefit greatly with further experience, Also, as I have worked as a TA, I am aware of e-safety rules and how to keep children safe online.

If you click on the button below, the file outlines my level of ability in ICT prior to starting the course in September.
Pre-course audit
My first ICT Audit at the beginning of the course in September 2013 to access my level of competence in different areas of ICT. As you can see I am only familiar with the basic aspects of ICT and over the course of this year I intend on focusing on areas of ICT where I feel I need further work in order to develop my skills and extend my learning, competence and confidence in using ICT.

I am now nearly at the end of my P.G.C.E course (only FPP to go now!) and I feel I have moved leaps and bounds in my range of ICT skills, which are showcased here. If I was to fill in the above audit now, I would grade myself as mostly A in the majority of areas.
However, ICT is an area that is constantly evolving, therefore I will constantly be working on my ICT skills to ascertain I can continue to bring the best practice into my classroom.
